Carolyn Cantz

Welcome! I'm Carolyn, and while I do love planning vacations, what I love even more is everything that comes with them, the memories, the little moments, and the stories you bring home.

In my home, vacation excitement starts long before we leave. I love posting a vacation countdown in my kitchen and the kids arguing over whose turn it is to cross off one day. I love when the day finally comes and I play the vacation song to wake them up. I love that while on vacation I see my kids test their bravery with trying new rides and test their palate by trying new food. I love laying in bed after a long park day or island day and hearing everyone talk about things that happened that day.

Those are the moments I love the most. They are a big part of why I love helping other families plan their vacations too. Of course, I enjoy all the planning that goes into a trip like finding the right resort, figuring out all the details, and putting all the pieces together is genuinely fun for me, but what really matters is what happens once you get there. Maybe it's a smile you share on a ride, one of your kids falling asleep in the stroller right when you were about to experience the thing they'd be looking forward to the most, or a conversation with your spouse that doesn't involve taking out the garbage. Those little moments won't make it into the vacation photo album or social media post, but they're the ones you remember and the reason why you plan another.

Collect the moments, think about them often, but most importantly...make them. Let's get started!
