Spring & Easter

Easter at Walt Disney World is a charming experience, especially for families with young children. While there is no separately ticketed Easter event, the parks and resorts add seasonal touches that make the holiday special.
The most popular Easter tradition is the resort egg hunts -- each deluxe and moderate resort displays elaborately decorated character eggs throughout the lobby and common areas. Guests can purchase a map and search for all the eggs, earning a prize at the end.
In the parks, characters appear in Easter-themed outfits, limited-edition seasonal treats are available at bakeries and snack carts, and special Easter dining options are offered at select table-service restaurants.
Plan Ahead
Character egg display hunts at Disney resort lobbies (small fee for map, prize at completion)
Characters in Easter-themed outfits for special photo opportunities
Limited-edition Easter treats at park bakeries (rice crispy treats, cupcakes, cake pops)
Special Easter brunch and dinner menus at select restaurants
Easter-themed PhotoPass Magic Shots
Egg-themed topiaries at EPCOT during Flower & Garden overlap
Spring break crowds -- plan accordingly
Insider Tips
Easter week is one of the busiest of the year -- use Genie+ and plan your must-do rides early
The resort egg hunts are a great low-key morning activity before heading to the parks
Book Easter brunch at 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, or Cape May Cafe well in advance -- these sell out months ahead
Consider doing your park day on the Saturday before Easter and saving Easter Sunday for the resort pool and egg hunt
If you can travel the week after Easter instead, crowds drop dramatically and prices are lower
